The PSLE Year

The P6 Final Sprint: Term-by-Term

Primary 6 is a race against time. We do not leave preparation to chance. Our curriculum is mapped out to the exact week, ensuring peak performance by September.

Term 1
Jan - Mar

Accelerated Syllabus Completion

We aim to complete 80% of the P6 syllabus by the end of Term 1. This includes heavy-hitting topics like Circles, Speed, and Algebra in Math, and Energy/Forces in Science. The goal is to buy time for revision.

Term 2
Apr - Jun

Heuristic Integration & Cross-Topic Application

We shift from learning isolated topics to solving integrated questions. Students learn to identify when a question requires a mix of Ratio and Percentage, or when a Science question tests both Heat and States of Matter.

Term 3
Jul - Sep

Prelim Conditioning & Time Trials

The focus shifts entirely to exam stamina. We conduct rigorous, timed mock papers using past year top school papers. We analyze the results to identify the final 5-10% of conceptual gaps and eradicate careless mistakes.

Inside The Classroom

The Anatomy of an AL1 Lesson

Every minute of our 1.5 to 2-hour sessions is meticulously planned to maximize cognitive engagement and retention. Here is what a typical lesson looks like.

1
First 15 Mins

Recall & Review

We begin with a rapid-fire review of the previous week's concepts and go through common mistakes found in the homework. This solidifies long-term memory retention.

2
Next 45 Mins

Concept Introduction & Scaffolding

The tutor introduces the new topic or heuristic. Using our proprietary guidebooks, we break down the concept into micro-steps, demonstrating the thought process out loud.

3
Next 20 Mins

Guided Application

Students attempt carefully curated questions. The tutor actively monitors every student's working, correcting logical flaws instantly before they become ingrained habits.

4
Final 10 Mins

Independent Mastery & Consolidation

Students tackle a challenging, PSLE-standard question independently. The lesson concludes with a summary of key takeaways and keyword reminders.

Comprehensive Support System

Learning doesn't stop when the class ends. We provide an ecosystem of support to ensure your child is never left struggling alone.

WhatsApp Homework Help

Stuck on a tough school homework question? Students can WhatsApp our dedicated support line for hints and guidance during the week.

Termly Progress Reports

Detailed analytical reports sent to parents every term, breaking down performance by topic and heuristic type, not just a generic grade.

Video Solution Vault

Access to an exclusive online portal containing step-by-step video breakdowns of the most challenging PSLE questions.

Parent-Tutor Conferences

Bi-annual 1-on-1 sessions with Mr. Ang to discuss your child's trajectory, address concerns, and align on strategies for home support.

Student Success Stories

Real results from real students who transformed their academic journey with AL1 Project Centre.

J

Jayden T.

P6 Math: AL5 to AL1

"Jayden used to dread Math and would leave Paper 2 almost blank. Mr. Ang's structured approach helped him break down complex word problems. Within 6 months, he went from failing to scoring an AL1 in his PSLE!"

- Mrs. Tan, Parent

S

Sarah L.

P6 Science: AL4 to AL1

"Sarah knew her science concepts but always lost marks in Section B because she didn't use the right keywords. The CER framework taught here completely changed how she answers open-ended questions."

- Mr. Lee, Parent

E

Ethan W.

P4 Math: AL3 to AL1

"The small class size made a huge difference. Ethan is shy and wouldn't ask questions in his previous tuition centre. Here, the tutor checks his working constantly and corrects his mistakes on the spot."

- Mdm. Wong, Parent

The AL1 Promise

Our Commitment to Your Child

We are not a mass-market tuition factory. We take in a limited number of students each year because we are deeply invested in the success of every single child who walks through our doors.

  • No Hidden FeesOur fees are transparent. There are no material fees, registration fees, or deposit requirements. You only pay for the lessons your child attends.
  • Quality Over QuantityWe will never compromise our strict maximum class size of 6. If a class is full, we will open a new one or place you on a waitlist.
  • Continuous ImprovementOur curriculum is reviewed and updated annually to ensure it remains aligned with the latest MOE syllabus and PSLE trends.
Our Commitment

The Learning Environment

Why we cap our classes at 6 students.

In a large classroom, quiet students slip through the cracks. They nod when asked if they understand, but their foundational gaps remain hidden until the exams.

Our strict 6-student cap ensures that Mr. Ang can personally monitor every child's working steps. We don't just look at the final answer; we look at how they arrived there. This allows us to correct flawed logic instantly and provide targeted cognitive scaffolding.

  • Personalized feedback on every worksheet
  • A safe space to ask questions without fear
  • Peer learning and collaborative problem solving
